CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR: Message and Prayers

It is my loving pleasure to wish my family (biological, national, continental and global) and friends happy Christmas and peaceful New Year. As we face another challenging year, it is time to evaluate ourselves based on these questions: Is your family (household, national, continental and global) happy with your actions? Did you keep records of your income-expenditure for the outgoing year? Did you provide any assistance (financial or non-financial) to the poor and vulnerable members of society? What is your level of relationship (evil or friendly) with others in your society (national and global)? What added value (academic or non-academic) did you gain? Providing answers to the questions will show a clear understanding of your position as an individual, nation, continent and global society. Recently, a friend approached me with a veil of aggression, a friend in the United States of America I was clamouring to be in touch with after a long time split due to our civil war, but with my forgiving spirit, I took the lost soul’s action as normal human deviations. As the saying goes in our local lingual Franca (a common language for Sierra Leoneans), Creole, “bad bush nor dae for throway you brother”, meaning there is no bad bush to throw your brother. This friend, brother and any human being that offends me cannot be stored in my memory, as I had learned theories about the unpredictable nature of human beings, and therefore, I am seasoned to face any approachable form. When I look at my country, Sierra Leone, a trial has begun of military coup and the end result might be a slaughter of them, from historical perspective. The nation has shed lots of innocent blood from past regimes and I want to be convinced that our on-going problems might be the nation is cursed. I want to personally appeal to the conscience of President Koroma to be cautious about the handling of the current trial of those accused of the military coup. In my opinion, everyone in the nation and beyond is convinced that military coup is not in fashion any more and can never be successful, and I have the feeling that those in front of the court might be victims of intelligence failure or orchestrated victimisation. To be honest, the only thing I am envisaging in Sierra Leone and other lagging African nations is a peaceful uprising, but this can only spark-up if the governance keeps suppressing the peoples’ happiness for their selfish gains. However, I am urging all of us to strive for a peaceful co-existence and thrive to put a lasting smile on the faces of our households, nations, continents and the global society. Enjoy the festive period in peace. Let me stop here and allow you to read and properly digest the site below:
